Engineering discipline

Built to last, not bolted on

Reuse-first, zero duplication

Every feature audited against the existing ERP first (Phase 0 reuse map). Billing rides the proven invoice engine; pharmacy stock is ERP batch/expiry inventory; patients are ERP contacts. Nothing re-implemented.

Everything is a module

Core stays untouched. New capabilities ship as modules with migrations, permissions, menus and settings — enable, disable or soft-lock per tenant, branch or department without breaking others.

Non-breaking by design

Additive-only migrations, permission-gated features, fail-soft integrations. Existing editions (VET One, Askar) are untouched by the medical layer.

Tested on a live demo

Every phase is migrated, seeded and smoke-tested against the running Shifa One demo before commit — including cross-module flows (allergy → alert → WhatsApp-ready notification).
